The MarCom Pro had the pleasure of supporting The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok in hosting ‘Royal Route, Royal Roots’, a thoughtfully curated celebration of Songkran that honored the elegance and richness of Thai cultural heritage, set within one of Bangkok’s most historically significant locations.
The event invited media and international KOLs to step into the spirit of Thai tradition through a series of refined activities. The journey began with dressing in traditional Thai attire, followed by a guided exploration of the hotel, a property deeply rooted in royal history. This was complemented by a hands-on workshop in lotus folding and floral arrangement, offering a meaningful connection to Thai craftsmanship and symbolism.
The experience concluded with a curated lunch featuring khao chae, a royal Thai summer delicacy known for its delicate flavors and cultural significance. This signature dish not only reflects the season but also embodies the sophistication of Thai culinary heritage.
